
LEXINGTON, Kentucky, May 4, 2018–Three American Young Riders were named Friday to compete in Europe including the CDIO-Y Nations Cup in Hagen, Germany in mid-June.
The U.S. Equestrian Federation announced the three combinations selected for the tour based on results from Jan. 1 to April 30 are:
Ben Ebeling , 18 years old of Moorpark, California and Behlinger, 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Amy Roberts Ebeling, Ann Romney and Elizabeth Meyer;
Callie Jones, 19, of Henderson, Kentucky and and Don Philippo, her 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding, and
Anna Weniger, 19, of Apex, North Carolina and Don Derrick, 14-year-old American-bred NRPS gelding owned by Dawn Weniger.

All three are scheduled to compete at the CDIO-Y Nations Cup in Hagen, Germany June 12-17. Callie and Anna will also compete in young rider CDIs in Compiègne, France May 17-20 and Aachen, Germany May 29-31.
“The Tour is designed to introduce our Young Riders to competing internationally, both as individuals and as a team representing the U.S.” said George Williams, U.S. Dressage Youth Coach and Chef d’Equipe. “It is important for our Young Riders’ development to have a chance to compete against their counterparts in Europe. The final leg, the Future Champions Hagen CDIO-Y, is especially exciting as our riders will be going head-to-head as a team against a number of the best of their division in the world.”
