NIEUW en ST. JOOSLAND, Netherlands, April 7, 2018–Sweden’s Juliette Ramel and Buriel K.H. posted a personal best score to win Outdoor Zeeland CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday for their first Big Tour victory in two years.
Juliette and the 12-year-old KWPN gelding, on Sweden’s team at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, scored 75.617 per cent, beating their previous best of 74.373 per cent set in June 2016. The pair placed second in the Grand Prix Friday in the first show in eight months for Juliette and Buriel that began Big Tour in January 2016.
Hans Peter Minderhoud of the Netherlands on Glock’s Dream Boy placed second on 72.489 per cent.
Great Britain’s Gareth Hughes on Don Carissimo placed third on 68.298 per cent in their first competition of the year.
