The USA team to compete in the CDIO3* Nations Cup in Odense, Denmark was named Thursday to kick off the six-event European stage of the trans-Atlantic series.
The Dutta Corp. U.S. dressage team for Odense, Denmark May 12-16 as announced by the U.S. Equestrian Federation will be:
Katherine Bateson-Chandler of Wellington, Florida and a.) and Alcazar, 11-year-old KWPN gelding owned by Jane Clark;
Susan Dutta also of Wellington and Currency DC, a 16-year-old Oldenburg gelding owned by Tim Dutta Inc.;
Jennifer Hoffmann based in Germany and her own XXXL Rubinio NRW, a 13-year-old Westfalen stallion, and
Beatrice Marienau of Oak Creek, Colorado and her own Stefano 8, a 17-year-old KWPN gelding.
Robert Dover will be the chef d’equipe.
The U.S. won the Wellington CDIO3* that was the first of seven Nations Cups in the first year as a FEI, International Equestrian federation, series after three years of testing.
After Odense, the schedule is: CDIO5* Compiègne, France May 19-22; CDIO5* Rotterdam, Netherlands June 22-26; CDIO5* Falsterbo, Sweden July 7-10; CDIO5* Aachen, Germany July 13-17, and CDIO3* Hickstead, England July 28-31.
