THOUSAND OAKS, California, Sept. 13, 2015–Steffen Peters and Rosamunde won the Thousand Oaks Grand Prix Special Sunday, completing a sweep of the Big Tour with the eight-year-old mare and the championship gelding Legolas.
Steffen of San Diego, California and Rosamunde scored 74.255 per cent for the win with Mette Rosencrantz of Topango, California on Marron second on 68.863 per cent and Charlotte Jorst of Reno, Nevada on Kastel’s Nintendo in third on 66.255 per cent.
Steffen and the eight-year-old Rhinelander mare that he has competed at CDI Grand Prix on both sides of the Arlantic since February this year won the Grand Prix Saturday with a personal best score.
On Legolas, the Westfalen gelding ranked No. 9 in the world that he rode for the United States at the World Games in 2014 and the Pan American Games last month for team and individual gold he won the World Cup Grand Prix and the Freestyle, also with a personal best result
