Daniel Dockx & Grandioso Take Madrid CDI3* Grand Prix

MADRID, Nov. 29, 2014–Jose Daniel Martin Dockx on Grandioso claimed their first victory of the year in taking the Madrid CDI3* Grand Prix Saturday, their first international event since the World Games three months ago.

Daniel and the 15-year-old P.R.E. (Pura Raza Español) stallion scored 73.640 per cent for the victory, the first in 18 months for the 2012 Spanish Olympic team combination.

Beatriz Ferrer-Salat, also of Spain, on Sir Radjah was second on 72.680 per cent with compatriot Jordi Domingo Coll on Wonder in third on 69.540 per cent.

Daniel and Grandioso, owned by Kimberly Boyer’s Hampton Green Farm of Wellington, Florida, are scheduled to compete at Florida’s Global Dressage Festival over the winter. It will be the first American show for the horse since he was competed up to Intermediate II by Courtney King-Dye before her serious accident in 2010.
