PARIS, Dec. 3, 2013–Finland’s Terhi Stegars and Axis TSF logged a personal best score of 76.450 per cent to capture the Salon du Cheval CDI3* Tuesday, the second victory for the pair in 2 1/2 years competing on the Big Tour.
Terhi and the 14-year-old black Trakehner stallion (Sixtus x Angard) had placed second in the Grand Prix on Monday behind France’s Marc Boblet and Noble Dream Concept Sol who were reserve in the Freestyle on 76.225 per cent with compatriot Jessica Michel on Riwera de Hus scoring 74.125 for third as they were placed in the Grand Prix.
Terhi and Axis posted their only other CDI victory at Leudelange, Luxembourg in September, 2012.
The Grand Prix Special was won by Bertrand Legard of France on Star Wars with a score of 67.146 per cent with Italy’s Ester Soldi and Harmonia second on 65.438 per cent and Mario Van Orshaegen of Belgium and Wilco V in third on 64.563 per cent.
