HAGEN, Germany, April 25, 2025–Sönke Rothenberger and Fendi won the Horses & Dreams CDI4* Grand Prix Friday to return to the top of the podium for the first time in two years.
Sönke and the 11-year-old Danish gelding were awarded 72.826% for the victory, the first since a pair of first places at this same showgrounds in 2023.
Great Britain’s Susan Pape on Harmony’s Giulilanta, ther 14-year-old KWPN mare on which she has been successful at Grand Prix and Small Tour on Florida’s winter circuit, was runner-up on 71.217%.
Ingrid Klimke of Germany on the 14-year-old stallion Vayron NRW placed third on 69.956%. She took over the ride late last year after Vayron was competed by Denmark’s Daniel Bachmann Andersen on Denmark’s silver medal team at the Paris Olympics.
