Germany’s Katharina Hemmer on Denoix PCH Wins Hagen CDI4* Grand Prix, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl Debuts Diallo for 3* Special Victory

HAGEN, Germany,April 24, 2025–Germany’s Katharina Hemmer and Denoix PCH won the Horses & Dreams CDI4* Grand Prix to extend a year-long string of top finishes.
Katharina and the 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding owned by America’s Nancy Gooding and Germany’s now retired team rider Hubertus Schmidt scored 74.261% for the victory.
Katharina took over the ride from Hubertus two years ago and in the past 11 months has won nine of 13 starts.
Andreas Helgstrand on the 11-year-old stallion and 2023 European Championship team bronze medal mount Jovian was runner-up on 71.391%.
Sweden’s Patrik Kittel on Touchdown, the 13-year-old Swedish gelding on which he won the 2024 World Cup, placed third on 70.783%.
Olympic gold medal rider Jessica von Bredow-Werndl in the international debut of Diallo, 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding, won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special on a score of 72.447%.
German compatriot Semmieke Rothenberger on Farrington was runner-up on 71.341%, a day after capturing the Grand Prix.
Isabell Werth on Special Blend placed third on 71.149%.
