Germany Wins Gold, Spain Silver, USA Bronze at Hagen Nations Cup

HAGEN, Germany, July 3, 2026–Germany won gold, Spain silver and USA bronze in the CDIO4* Nations Cup  Friday.

Isabell Werth on her Olympic gold medal mount Wendy de Fontaine led the German team with a top individual results of 81.051%, team mate Frederic Wandres on Bluetooth OLD placing second individually on 76.087% and Raphael Netz on Great Escape Camelot on 73.696% completing a German sweep of the top three individual placings.

José Antonio Garcia Mena on Gladiador Do Lis with a 6th place individual score of 71.696% assured Spain on silver after Severo Jurada Lopez on Flaconi W placed 7th individually on 71.652%, with Lucia Gallardo on Hip By Johnson 14th individually on a personal best 69.543%.

Jordan LaPlaca on Gold Play overcame a scare of veterinary inspection to lead USA to silver in 8th place individually with a personal best 70.631% followed by Christian Simonson on Fleau de Baian in 9th on 70.478% and Geñay Vaughn on Gino scoring 69.848% to place 11th.

Final team results in which the top three scores from each country counted: 1. Germany 230.834; 2. Spain 212.892; 3. USA 210.957;  4. Sweden 208.435; 5. Belgium 207.674; 6. Austria 204.478.
