The four rider and horse combinations selected for the U.S. team at the CDIO4* Nations Cup in Hagen, Germany July 1-5 were announced Friday by U.S. Equestrian Federation.
The Dutta Corp. team, to be led by coach Christine Traurig and supported by team leader Laura Roberts, is:
Meagan Davis of Loxahatchee, Florida and Toronto Lightfoot, 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding (Totilas x Onassis) owned by Scott Durkin;
Jordan LaPlaca of Ledyard, Connecticut and Gold Play, 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding (Grey Flanell x Sir Donnerhall II) owned by Nancy Hutson and Jordan LaPlaca;
Anna Marek of Dunnellon, Florida and Fayvel, 16-year-old KWPN gelding (Zizi Top x Houston) owned by Cynthia Davila, and
Christian Simonson of Wellington, Florida and Fleau de Baian, 16-year-old KWPN stallion (Broere Jazz x Ulft), owned by Zen Elite Equestrian Center.
Competition begins on Friday July 3 with the Grand Prix, with the Freestyle Saturday July 4 and the Grand Prix Special Sunday.
