Justin Verboomen and his nine-year-old Zonik Plus topped the world rankings for riders and horses for the third month in a row.

Justin of Belgium and the Rhineland stallion that began Big Tour a year ago this month consolidated their places leading the separate rider and horse rankings with a double victory at the Lyon, France World Cup at the end of October.

The combination led the world rankings for the first time after becoming champion of the prestigious World Equestrian Festival in Aachen, Germany followed by capturing both the European Championships independent and Freestyle gold medals.

Isabell Werth, the German superstar, stayed in second place.

Great Britain’s Becky Moody climbed one spot to third and her highest ever ranking while her top sport partner, the home-bred Jagerbomb, remained the No. 2 ranked horse.

The biggest change in the top 20 was Jessica von Bredow-Werndl of Germany vaulting to 15th from 116th the previous month and her Diallo BB up to 12th from No. 128.
