Thamar Zweistra and Hexagon’s Ich Weiss on Saturday won the Budapest World Cup in the Dutch pair’s bid for a fourth Final, at Fort Worth, Texas next April.

Thamar and the gray 12-year-old Dutch stallion were awarded 74.415% for the win.

Thamar and Ich Weiss competed at the 2022, 2023 and 2024 Finals based on the Freestyle as well as on the Netherlands’ team at the 2022 World Championships and 2023 Europeans. The 20 points she earned go to her standing in Western Europe.

Hungary’s Jasmin Yom Tov on For Joy, 12-year-old Westfalen gelding, was runner-up but earning the maximum 20 points in Central Europe for her first results for the 2025-26 season.

The Central European League is led by Poland’s Sandra Sysojeva on her Olympic mount Maxima Bella while Western Europeans seek points in Central Europe before the start of the highly competitive Western European league in mid-October.
