AACHEN, Germany, May 19, 2025–Marcus Orlob on Jane won the CDI3* Grand Prix Monday in the American partnership’s first competition in Europe since last summer’s Paris Olympics.

Marcus of Loxahatchee, Florida and the 11-year-old KWPN mare scored 72.869% for the victory and higher than the results of the pair’s four straight victories at the Global Dressage Festival in Wellington over the winter.

The USA team combination edged out Bianca Nowag-Aulenbrock on Florine OLD, 13-year-old Oldenburg mare, World Cup Final combination for Germany last month and a Nations Cup team partnership, who was runner-up on 72.718%.

Britain’s Laura Tomlinson on Full Moon II, nine-year-old Oldenburg gelding, placed third on 70.304%.

Marcus, also brought with him to Europe JJ Glory Day that was reserve champion of Global’s developing Grand Prix Future Challenge series, that like Jane is owned by Alice Tarjan.

This event was to familiarize Jane with the stadium where he will likely be selected for the United States team at the premier CHIO, including the 5* dressage Nations Cup in six weeks.
