MYAKKA CITY, Florida, May 3, 2025–Charlotte Jorst and her Zhaplin Langholt captured the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday to boost the partnership into the top 10 in the $250,000 US Open standings.
Charlotte, based in Wellington, and the 12-year-old Danish gelding scored 74.085% for the second victory this year. Along with points earned in two other competitions, the pair have a total of 55 points for 10th place.
Benjamin Ebeling on Bellena, 15-year-old Hanoverian mare, was runner-up on 73.985%. He took over the ride from his father at the beginning of this year.
Devon Kane, also of Wellington, and Vamos, the 13-year-old Westfalen gelding owned by her family’s Diamante Farms, placed third on 72.705%.
