MYAKKA CITY, Florida, May 2, 2025–Canada’s Naïma Moreira Laliberté rode Inspire to victory in the TerraNova CDI3* Grand Prix Friday for the first Big Tour win for the partnership.
Naïma, who in recent years has split her training and competition schedule between Florida and Spain, was awarded a personal best 68.891% for the win on the 12-year-old KWPN stallion that came a year after the pair started international Grand Prix.
On her Statesman, she competed at last year’s Olympics in Paris and at the 2022 World Championships. The duo won team gold at the 2019 Pan American Games and bronze at the 2023 Pan Ams.
Charlotte Jorst, based in Wellington, on Zhaplin Langholt, her 12-year-old Danish gelding, was runner-up on 68.739%, just 0.152 behind the top placing pair.
Ben Ebeling, also based in Wellington, placed third on Bellena with a score of 68.239%.
