DOHA, Qatar, Feb. 22, 2025–Sandra Sysojeva of Poland and her spectacular nine-year-old Maxima Bella captured the Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday to complete a double victory at CHI Al Shaqab.
Sandra and the Oldenburg mare that she has developed since a youngster was awarded 81.740% for the musical performance a day after taking the Grand Perix.
The pair competed at the Paris Olympics last summer and may start at the World Cup Final in Basel, Switzerland the first week of April.
Hans Peter Minderhoud of the Netherlands on Glock’s Toto Jr., the 14-year-old Hanoverian stallion, was runner-up on 79.190%.
Sweden’s Patrik Kittel on Forever Young HRH placed third with 78.895%.
