ANKUM, Germany, Dec. 8, 2024–Vivendy, a four-year-old mare, at €1,260,000 (US$1,332,000) was the top priced dressage horse at the 45th P.S.I. Auction Saturday night.
Vivendy (Vivino x Fürst Jazz ) was bought over the phone by a prominent German dressage stable.
Fifty dressage and show jumping horses from Paul Schockemöhle and Ullrich Kasselmann were auctioned off.
The Vitalis x Sandro Hit daughter Saint Lavinia opened the auction and went for €600,000 to the Meggle dressage stable in Bavaria. For Global was the second most expensive dressage horse at €650,000 to a stable in Switzerland.
The auction realized total proceeds of €19,660,000–dressage horses totaling €8,980,000 with an average price of €359,200, while show jumpers realized €10,680,000 with an average price of €427,200.
