One five-year-old horse and two seven-year-olds have been selected to compete for the United States at the Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo, Netherlands Sept. 4-8.

US Equestrian announced Friday that Alice Tarjan of Oldwick, New Jersey will compete Orado, a five-year-old KWPN stallion (Desperado x Johnson) owned by Alice.

The two seven-year-old combinations are David Blake of Cardiff By The Sea, California and G.Q., a Danish Warmblood gelding (Grand Galaxy WIN x Florencio 2) owned by Helen Stacy, and Rebecca Rigdon also of Cardiff By The Sea and MSJ for VIPs, an Oldenburg gelding (Foundation 2 x Vivaldi) owned by Lauren Fisher.

Chef d’Equipe Christine Traurig will be in Ermelo to support the combinations.
