ACHLEITEN, Austria, June 15, 2024–Victoria Max-Theurer on Abegglen FH NRW won the CDI4* Grand Prix Special Saturday to make it two-for-two ahead of Austria selecting its team for the Paris Olympics in six weeks.
Victoria and the 14-year-old Westfalen gelding Abegglen scored 72.617% for the win, a day after capturing the Grand Prix. She is also competing Birkhof’s Topas FBW in this event.
Victoria has competed in four Olympics and was in Tokyo with Abegglen but withdrew when the horse developed a tooth infection.
Switzerland’s Charlotte Lenherr on Sir Stanley W, 14-year-old Oldenburg gelding, was runner-up on 68.723%.
Lisa Müller of Germany on Gut Wettlkam’s Zonic Hit OLD, 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding, placed third on 67.872%.
