WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 24, 2024-“It’s Broadway,” a freestyle more popularly known as “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” that Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfvén competed successfully more than a decade ago has been revived for the Swedish Olympian to ride on Devanto Friday night.

The freestyle put together originally with master composer Cees Slings for Tinne and Favourit to perform at the World Dressage Masters in Florida will be performed with some adjustments Friday night under the lights at the Global Dressage Festival.

Tinne, a seven-time Olympian, will ride the 15-year-old Holsteiner gelding since the pair’s first international competition at Global in 2021. Since then, the duo have show extensively on both sides of the Atlantic.

A video on the creation of the freestyle, as initially displayed on dressage-news.com, can be seen here: https://vimeo.com/29712791?share=copy

Devanto is owned by Lövsta Stuteri, a major Swedish breeding and development operation owned by Antonia Ax:son Johnson with Tinne head of the stud.

Lövsta is a major sponsor of horse sports in both the USA and Europe, including the Future Challenge series at Global for developing dressage Grand Prix horses.

Cees Slings was an established composer when he made all the freestyles for Anky van Grunsven on Bonfire and Salinero from 1995 to 2004.
