WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 6, 2024–The Lövsta Future Challenge for young Grand Prix horses returns to the Global Dressage Festival this year with a new format designed to broaden the event’s appeal.
The development tour has extended horse age requirements by a year for 8 to 11 year olds with qualifiers spread over five competitions beginning Jan.24-28.
There are no entry fees for the qualifiers that like the final will be held in the centerpiece international arena.
The top two placegetters from each competition earn a start in the final Mar. 27-31 and a chance to earn a slice of the $15,000 in prize money.

Week 3 Jan. 24-28
Week 5 Feb. 7-11
Week 7 Feb. 21-25
Week 8 Feb. 28-Mar 3
Week 10 Mar. 13-17
Week 12 Mar. 27-31
The Buffalo Wild Wings Future Challenge Prix St. Georges has prize money of $10,000 for horses aged seven to nine with the top two in each competition going to the final, all on the same schedule as the developing Grand Prix. Entry fees will be applied to the St. Georges qualifiers.
