OCALA, Florida, Nov. 18, 2023–Jan Ebeling and Jubi’s Tenacity won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday to make it two-for-two at the World Equestrian Center.

Jan of Wellington and the 13-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding scored 71.064% in the Special a day after capturing the Grand Prix. This was the third straight victory for the horse owned by Ann Romney that Jan began competing at the beginning of this year.

Ellesse Gundersen of the Philippines and based in Wellington posted a personal best score of 69.553% on the nine-year-old Hanoverian gelding Quintessential.

This was only the second Big Tour competition for the partnership that began its international career at Intermediate A in Wellington in March followed by a pair of Intermediaire victories at this Ocala venue in September.

Canada’s Denielle Gallagher and Come Back de Massa, 11-year-old Lusitano gelding, placed third on 67.447%, also a personal best.
