LEEUWARDEN, Netherlands, Oct. 20, 2023–Marieke van der Putten and Torveslettens Titanium Rs2 captured the Indoor Friesland CDI3* Grand Prix Friday in their first competition since withdrawing from the World Cup Final in Omaha in April.

The Netherlands rider and the 11-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding scored 72.826% for the win. The pair pulled out of the World Cup after the horse suffered a colic after the Grand Prix in Omaha.

Fellow Dutch rider Marlies van Baalen on the 12-year-old KWPN gelding Go Legend was runner-up on 72.304%.

Germany’s Ingrid Klimke riding First Class, 11-year-old Hanoverian mare, in their second CDI Grand Prix was third on 70.956%.
