Eight nations have entered teams for Pan American Games dressage where two starting places at the 2024 Paris Olympics are at stake.

Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and the United States have entered teams for the Pan Ams in Santiago, Chile starting in two weeks.

USA is the only country from the Americas to have already qualified for Paris.

Ecuador with North Carolina-based Julio Mendoza Loor on Jewel’s Goldstrike–the highest ranked rider at No. 20 in the world and top in all of the Americas so far this year–is the only combination at Big Tour so as the other two pairs are at Small Tour the country is not able to qualify a team for Paris.

Big Tour combinations get a bonus of three percentage points.

Five nations with individual entries are: Barbados, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Uruguay and Venezuela.
