HAGEN, Germany, Sept. 22, 2023–Frederic Wandres and his World Championship team partner Duke of Britain FRH won the CDI4* Grand Prix Friday.
Frederic and the 16-year-old British-bred Hanoverian gelding scored 77.522% for the victory. The pair were on Germany’s bronze medal team at the 2022 World Championships and logged four wins earlier this year including Munich and Aachen, in Germany.
Sweden’s Patrik Kittel on Forever Young HRH, 11-year-old Westfalen mare, was runner-up on 75.087%.
Bianca Nowag-Aulenbrock of Germany and Queolito, 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding, was third on a personal best 72.652%.
