Kimberly Van Kampen whose drive in developing Pure Spanish horses in the United States has been recognized by her appointment as an honorary member of the Royal National Purebred Spanish Horse Breeders’ Association (ANCCE).

The recognition of Kim was made at the ANCCE 50th General Assembly in Seville, Spain.

Kim, based in Ocala, Florida is a board member and active as a board member of U.S. P.R.E. association and as a breeder and supporter of the breed. She is moving her breeding operation from its long time base in Michigan to Ocala.

Kerrigan Gluch, a rider for Kim, competed Mejorano HGF, a 12-year-old PRE gelding, on the U.S. Nations Cup team in Rotterdam, Netherlands last month.

Kim also owned Grandioso, the PRE stallion that she supported when competed by Jose Daniel Martin Dockx for Spain at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Tryon and the 2013 and 2015 European Championships.
