Charlotte Dujardin and Imhotep won CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday for a double victory at Wellington Riding. Carl Hester on Fame was runner-up but took the Freestyle on En Vogue.
Charlotte and the 10-year-old KWPN gelding scored 80.872% for the win in the Special, the fourth victory this year and a day after capturing the Grand Prix on the pair’s first 80% result.
Carl Hester on Fame, 13-year-old KWPN gelding, was runner-up on 77.596%.
Laura Tomlinson on DSP Rose of Bavaria, 13-year-old German Sport Horse mare, was third on 72.702%.
Carl and the 14-year-old KWPN gelding En Vogue won the Freestyle on 82.945%.
British teammate Gareth Hughes and Classic Briolinca, 17-year-old KWPN mare, was second on 82.420%.
Becky Moody on Jagerbomb, the nine-year-old KWPN gelding in only the second Big Tour competition, placed third on 77.835%.
