PILISJÁSZFALU, Hungary, June 8, 2023–Poland claimed a 2024 Paris Olympics team start in placing first among three nations from Olympic Group C competing Thursday in the CDIO3* Nations Cup Grand Prix. Germany, not in Group C and already qualified for Paris, won the Grand Prix.

Of the teams from Group C, Poland was awarded 204.892 from three of its four horses and riders, Hungary finished on 202.152 and Israel 192.522.

Żaneta Skowrońska-Kozubik on Romantic P posted a personal best 69.696% to cement Poland’s lead among the three nations seeking a start in Paris.

Germany’s Lisa Müller on Gut Wettlkam’s D’avie FRH on 72.543% was the top scoring combination.

Poland joins Denmark, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands and United States that qualified at the 2022 World Championships, and Australia as the top Group G country.

France, as host nation, also gets a start in Paris.

Still to be decided are the three highest ranked teams from the European Championships in September, the two highest ranked teams from the Pan American Games in October and one from Group F at an event still to be scheduled–all excluding countries already qualified–to complete the lineup of 15 teams in Paris.
