HICKSTEAD, England, May 13, 2023–Carl Hester and Fame captured the CDI3* Grand Prix Saturday for the third straight victory since taking over the ride while London Olympic teammate Laura Tomlinson was runner-up on DSP Rose of Bavaria after an absence of almost two years from the Big Tour arena.

Carl and the 13-year-old KWPN gelding owned by Fiona Bigwood that he first competed a month ago were awarded 76.326% for the win.

Laura Tomlinson and the 13-year-old German Sport Horse mare Rose of Bavaria scored 72.870% for runner-up. Laura had not competed the horse for almost two years before this event.

Andrew Gould on Indigro, 10-year-old KWPN stallion, were third on 71.174%.
