WELLINGTON, Florida, Mar 25, 2023–Morgan Barbançon of France won three Big Tour competitions in the final 24 hours of her inaugural Florida winter circuit–one on each of the three horses she brought from Europe.

Morgan won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special on Deodoro and the CDI4* Special on Habana Libre A Saturday after capturing the Freestyle on Bolero Friday night–results that she said put her “on cloud nine right now.”

“I am so proud of my horses,” she said, “so happy with the season, so grateful and blessed.”

The 30-year-old rider collected four blue ribbons for wins and two reds for runner-up this week alone.

“I have to say a special thank you to everyone here. We have felt so welcomed and especially Thomas (Baur) and Monica (Fitzgerald–who manage Global), volunteers, the stewards, the media, everyone has been so supportive and helpful. I really want to say thank you everyone for making this experience so incredible.”

Morgan and the 11-year-old Habana Libre won the 4* Special on 71.702%.

Katie Duerrhammer of Wellington on Paxton, a 12-year-old Westfalen stallion, was runner-up on 69.234%.

Alice Tarjan of Oldwick, New Jersey and Candescent, the 13-year-old Hanoverian mare returning to competition after a break of almost 1 1/2 years, placed third on 68.596%.

Emily Miles of La Cygne, Kansas, who won the Grand Prix on Java Dulce, 12-year old Danish Warmblood, a day earlier was second on 70.872%.

Kevin Kohmann of Wellington on the 14-year-old Dünensee was third on 69.403%.

Morgan won the 4* Grand Prix Freestyle Friday night.

She returns to Europe with the horses then returns to the United States later next week with Sir Donnerhall II OLD to compete in the World Cup Final in Omaha.
