JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA, Spain, Mar 17, 2023–Alejandro Asencio Mendez and Focus won the Asuncion CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Friday for the first Big Tour musical performance victory for the Spanish partnership.
Alejandro and the 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding were awarded 72.275% for the win.
Alisa Glinka on Aachen, less than three weeks to the Omaha World Cup Final, placed second on 71.400%. Omaha will be the second Final for the Moldova rider and the 12-year-old Oldenburg gelding.
Teia Hernandez Vila also of Spain and the 12-year-old P.R.E. stallion Romero de Trujillo placed third on 70.375%.
