Annabelle that was ridden by Helen Langehanenberg on Germany’s gold medal team at the 2021 European Championships will become a broodmare.
The end of the competition career of the 15-year-old Holsteiner (Conteur x Linaro) that also competed at the World Cup Final in Leipzig, Germany last year and was a reserve on on the Tokyo Olympic team was announced by Helen.
“Of course it always hurts to say goodbye to a horse, especially when it marks the end of an almost 10-year journey together with a lot of training work and at least as much heart and soul,” Helen said.
