WELLINGTON, Florida, Feb. 11, 2023–Morgan Barbançon of France on Habana Libre A won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday, the fifth win since the French rider began her first Florida winter circuit last month.
Morgan and her 11-year-old gelding were awarded 71.660% for the win two days after capturing the Grand Prix. The rider has posted victories on three different horses she brought to Wellington.
Felicitas Hendricks of Germany rode her her 12-year-old Drombusch to runner-up on 70.362% in the first Big Tour competition for the pair. Felicitas and Drombusch were third in the Grand Prix.
Fellow German Anna-Christina Abbelen on Sam Donnerhall was third on 69.723%.
