FRANKFURT, Germany, Dec. 18–Isabell Werth on Emilio won the CDI5* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday for a double victory and the fifth win in eight starts for the year.
Isabell and the 16-year-old Westfalen gelding scored 85.845% at this Christmas season event and the eighth year at Big Tour for Emilio.
German team mate Dorothee Schneider rode Faustus, a 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding, to a personal best score of 82.870% for runner-up.
Juliane Brunkhorst on the 11-year-old Holsteiner gelding Aperol, wrapped up the German sweep of the top three places with a score of 77.620%.
