LE MANS, France, Oct. 16, 2022–Germany’s Matthias Alexander Rath and Destacado FRH easily won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday two days after claiming the Grand Prix.

Matthias and the nine-year-old Hanoverian stallion scored 73.000% for the fifth win in six starts this year, the second year at Big Tour. Destacado was reserve world five year old champion and fourth in the world as a six-year-old.

Karen Nijvelt of the Netherlands and Elysias, a 13-year-old KWPN gelding, were second on 69.213%.

France’s Maxime Collard on the 15-year-old KWPN stallion Cupido PB placed third on 68.617%.
