ASUNCION, Paraguay, Oct. 2, 2022–Brazil led the South American Games team competition Sunday after the first of two days of mixed small and big tour competitions. Argentina was lying second and Ecuador third.

Brazil’s Paulo Cesar dos Santos on Fidel Da Sasa Je won the Prix St. Georges while team mate Victor Trielli Ávila on Corsario IGS took the Grand Prix.

Intermediate 1 and Grand Prix Special on Monday will decide team medals. Individual medals for freestyles are scheduled for Wednesday.
