LUDWIGSBURG, Germany, Sept. 25, 2022–Frederic Wandres rode Bluetooth OLD to a personal best score to win the Ludwigsburg CDI4* Grand Prix Special Sunday.
Frederic and the 12-year-old Oldenburg gelding were awarded 77.149% for the win, the ninth in 12 starts so far this year. Five of the wins for Frederic, on Germany’s bronze medal team at the world championships, were at the Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida last winter.
Anna-Christina Abbelen also of Germany and Sam Donnerhall, a 15-year-0ld Oldenburg gelding, were second on a personal best 72.383%.
Evelyn Eger and Westminster, a 17-year-old Oldenburg gelding, were third on 72.277%.
Evelyn and Westminster and Frederic and Bluetooth are stablemates at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen. Frederic competed Westminster in 2018-2019 and Evelyn took over the ride in May this year.
