LIPICA, Slovenia, May 29, 2022–Moldova’s Alisa Glinka and Aachen won the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday to move to the top of qualifying in Central Europe for the Final in Omaha next April.
Alisa and the 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding scored 74.315% for the win to add to the maximum points earned a week ago in the pair’s first qualifier in the 2022-23 World Cup circuit. The pair competed at the Final in Leipzig last month as one of two combinations from Central Europe as well as the European Championships last September.
Estonia’s Grete Ayache and Farao da Raia, a 12-year-old Lusitano gelding, were second on 71.830%.
Valentina Truppa of Italy on Ranieri was third on 69.885%.
