STADL-PAURA, Austria, April 17, 2022–Jessica von Bredow-Werndl rode Ferdinand BB to victory in the CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday for the ninth win in 14 starts since moving to Big Tour 16 months ago.
Jessica and the 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding that she has developed from a youngster scored 79.835% for the win. Jessica, world No. 1 on her Olympic, World Cup and European Championship gold medal mount TSDF Dalera BB, is pregnant with her second child.
Compatriot Lisa-Maria Klössinger and FBW Daktari were second on 76.565%. The pair that were the 2017 European Under-25 Championships gold medalists won the Grand Prix Saturday.
Franz Trischberger, also of Germany, was third on DSP James Bond on 74.900%.
