OPGLABBEEK, Belgium, Mar. 31, 2022–Patrik Kittel debuted the Russian-bred Fuhur to win the Sentower Dressage Festival CDI4* Grand Prix Thursday.

The three-time Olympic rider for Sweden and the 13-year-old Warmblood (Fürstenreich x Nagnat) were awarded 74.717%, one of only two scores above 70% in the first of two parts of the Grand Prix spread over two days because of the large number of entries.

Fuhur was first competed internationally by Russia’s Elena Sidneva including the 2018 World Equestrian Games and the 2019 European Championships.

The Netherlands’ Marieke van der Putten on Torveslettens Titanium was runner-up on 73.087%, in the fifth Big Tour competition for Marieke and the 10-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding.

Melissa Galloway of New Zealand competing Windermere J’Obei W in Europe at only their second event were third on 69.956%.
