NEUMÜNSTER, Germany, Feb. 19, 2022–Isabell Werth rode the 10-year-old Superb to victory in the national Grand Prix for the Special at VR Classics Saturday.
Isabell and Superb, a Hanoverian mare, were awarded 77.533% by the three-judge ground jury. The pair qualified for last year’s German developing Grand Prix Championship Lousidor Prize. Their only international competition to date was at Prix St. Georges in July 2020.
Sweden’s Patrik Kittel and Forever Young HRH was second on 76.167% with Germany’s Nicole Wego-Engelmeyer on Saphira Royal third on 75.400%.
