Cathrine Dufour has entered Cassidy as her partner in the opening leg of the World Cup Western European League in Herning, Denmark next week to launch a bid by the Danish star for a start in the annual global championship back on schedule after canceled for the past two years because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Cassidy, now 18 years old after an international career begun by Cathrine in 2010 earning medals at five European Championships–two juniors, two young riders and one senior as well as being on Denmark’s 2016 Olympic team–has not competed since February 2020.
