TEMECULA, California, May 7, 2021–Steffen Peters on Suppenkasper won the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday, the 20th straight win for the second ranked American combination.

Steffen of San Diego, California and the 13-year-old KWPN gelding were awarded 76.413% extending the winning streak that began in January last year.

Nick Wagman also of San Diego on Don John scored 74.065% for second place.

Anna Buffini on FRH Davinia la Douce was third on a personal best 73.196%. The previous high score for Anna, also of San Diego, and the 14-year-old Hanoverian mare that she has been competing at Big Tour since last November was 71.348% posted in Wellington in March.

Anna and Gunter Seidel of Cardiff, California on Equirelle who scored 69.891% for fourth place have been named to the U.S. team for Nations Cup competition in France next month.

This is the last CDI in the U.S. before Steffen on Suppenkasper and Nick Wagman on Don John, 13-year-old KWPN gelding, are scheduled to compete in the Olympic observation event in Wellington, Florida next month to determine the team of three riders and horses and a reserve combination for the Tokyo Olympics.
