WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 31, 2021–Christoph Koschel and Delmonte won the 2021 inaugural Lövsta Future Challenge series for Developing Grand Prix and qualified on Imposant behind fellow German Michael Klimke on Domino in Developing Prix St. Georges at the Global Dressage Festival Sunday.

Christoph and the 10-year-old Oldenburg stallion were awarded 75.367% in the Intermediate II that was the first of eight qualifiers for the $15,000 final in Global’s centerpiece International Arena at the end of this year’s circuit the first week of April.

American amateur Alice Tarjan of Oldwick, New Jersey on Serenade MF placed second, but only the winner advances to the final of the series in its second year at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center’s Stadium complex.

Michael Klimke and Domino, a nine-year-old Westfalen mare, scored 75.367% to win the developing Prix St. Georges to go to the third year of the $10,000 final also at the end of the Global circuit.

Christoph and Imposant, an eight-year-old KWPN gelding, was second on 73.749% but that also qualifies for the final.
