LE MANS, France, Oct. 18, 2020–Christoph Koschel of Germany and Eaton Unitechno won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday for back-to-back victories on the prospective Japanese Olympic team mount.

Christoph, the Japanese Olympic team coach, and the 11-year-old KWPN gelding, scored 71.128% for the win after topping the Grand Prix two days ago. The horse is usually competed by Japan’s Masanao Takahashi, a prospect for the Tokyo Olympics.

Gonçalo Carvalho of Portugal on Craque das Figueiras placed second on 69.660% with France’s Bernard Liegard on Star Wars third on 69.553%.
