BRNO, Czech Republic, Aug. 30, 2020–Florian Bacher and Fidertraum, in their debut Big Tour musical performance, won the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday a day after capturing the Grand Prix on a personal best score.

Florian and the 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding scored 77.300% for the victory to earn 20 points to tak back to the Western European League. The World Cup Final will be staged in Gothenburg, Sweden next April.

Fellow Austrian Christian Schumach on Donna Karacho placed second on 75.820% with the Netherlands’ Remy Bastings on Eqador third on 74.570%.

This was the third World Cup qualifier in Central Europe where the schedule has been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

The next Central European qualifier is in Moscow Sept. 17-20.
