ACHLEITEN, Austria, Aug. 15, 2020–Isabell Werth rode Emilio to victory in the CDI4* Saturday with the highest Grand Prix score for the world No. 7 ranked partnership in more than two years.

Isabell and the 14-year-old Westfalen gelding scored 80.935%, their highest score since 81.326% in April 2018 and the pair’s second competition here since the coronavirus-triggered break of more than three months.

Victoria Max-Theurer, Austria’s four-time Olympian, and Abegglen FH NRW were second in 75.674% in the pair’s third Big Tour event, all within the past six weeks for the pair.

German team rider Dorothee Schneider and DSP Pathetique were third on 70.869%.
