The International Equestrian Federation ranked among the top group for governance in a survey conducted by the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations.
The survey was the third governance review but the first to rank the federations, in which 31 participated.
The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) was ranked among the top six, the others the Badminton World Federation; FIFA, the football (soccer) organization; International Tennis Federation; International Cycling Union and World Rugby.
The top six all scored between 170 and 187 points out of a possible maximum of 200 in answering questions dealing with transparency, integrity, democracy, control mechanisms and development and solidarity.
