MADRID, Nov. 29, 2019–Germany’s world championship team gold medal partnership of Dorothee Schneider and Sammy Davis Jr. posted a personal best score to win the World Cup Grand Prix Friday.
Dorothee and the 13-year-old Bavarian gelding scored 78.217% to shaved 0.057% off the previous best of 78.196% logged in Stockholm a year ago.
Spain’s Claudio Castilla Ruiz on Alcaide also posted a personal best 74.348% for second.
Hans Peter Minderhoud of the Netherlands on Glock’s Zanardi was third on 72.717%.
World Cup points in the campaign to earn a start at the Final in Las Vegas next April will be decided in the Freestyle Saturday.
