WIESBADEN, Germany, June 10, 2019–Isabell Werth and DSP Quantaz won the CDI4* Grand Prix Special Monday for a double victory in this spa city and the third win in four starts.

The German superstar and the nine-year-old German Sport Horse gelding (Quaterback x Hohenstein) that began Big Tour last month scored 76.255% in gthe second Grand Prix Special. The pair’s inaugural Special score in May was 74.319%. Isabell and Quantaz won the Grand Prix Sunday.

Quantaz, owned by Austria’s Olympic competitor Victoria Max-Theurer, is one of five horses that Isabell has on the world ranking list, at No. 507 with just the duo’s initial two scores. Her other ranked mounts are Weihegold OLD at No. 1, Bella Rose No. 2, Emilio No. 5 and Don Johnson FRH No. 24.

Olympic and World Games team mate Dorothee Schneider on Pathetique was second on 72.617%.

Great Britain’s Emma Hindle on Romy del Sol placed third on a score of 71.532%.

Laura Tomlinson, the 2012 Olympic team gold medal rider, rode Duval’s Capri Sonne JR to a personal best score of 70.638% for fourth place.
